The Royal Horticultural Society’s Chelsea Flower show 2018 is returning for another awe inspiring year. Last year SMC Coach Hire successfully transported many happy travellers to the Chelsea Flower Show 2017 – it was brilliant! . Across the five day event (22nd-25th May) attendees will be treated to some of the most beautiful, imaginative designs from the very best in the gardening world.
Chelsea Flower Show 2018 is putting a strong focus on personal wellbeing and environmental issues. The show will host a plethora of gardens dedicated to showcasing how gardening and being surrounded in greenery can help improve one’s stress levels and mood. A fabulous example of this will be the Lemon Tree Trust Garden which has the extra special touch thanks to its design being aided by refugees of Domiz Camp in Northern Iraq. The health and well-being section will also be home to the Urban Flow garden which has been designed to show how landscaping can be environmentally considerate. Another must see is the Pearlfisher Garden which addresses the devastating impact of plastic waste in the oceans.
Returning this year at Chelsea Flower Show 2018 is world-renowned chef Ramond Blanc in the Jardin Blanc hospitality area. Foodies can choose from various packages which include breakfast, dinner and afternoon teas – yum!
Night owls can also get in the fun this year with the show announcing tickets being put on sale for The Chelsea Late Event, an evening of jazz music, wandering artists, cocktails and an artisan food market. It is a great opportunity to explore the gardens with the added twist of twilight.
