Their Mission

Greenpaw is dedicated to accelerating Earth's natural regeneration and protecting ancient ecosystems through strategic partnerships, innovative solutions, and empowering local communities for a sustainable and biodiverse future.

Why we work with Greenpaw

Navigating the urgent global climate challenge, Greenpaw stands out by embracing a holistic regeneration strategy. Beyond traditional carbon offsetting, we incorporate advanced sequestration metrics with initiatives that foster food security, robust rewilding, and socio-economic stability. Our meticulous grading system spans comprehensive areas, from carbon emissions mitigation to biodiversity conservation and community enrichment.

Every project within Greenpaws' regeneration portfolio undergoes this rigorous environmental and social impact assessment, underscoring our commitment to a more sustainable, transparent, and ecologically restorative future; positioning us as pioneers in the realm of transformative sustainability and community upliftment.

Kalunga: Voices from the Cerrado

The Cerrado is one of the most biodiverse regions in the world, known as Brazil's "water tank" because its aquifers supply water to much of the country. Huge areas of this precious ecosystem have been degraded by conventional farming, and those who know best how to restore this abundant landscape while storing carbon are the people of the quilombos (pronounced Ki-Lom-Boz).

Greenpaw is proud to be working with our project partner; RAIN, and the local community; Associação Quilombo Kalunga, aligning traditional knowledge with innovative regeneration practices to implement agroforestry programs in these traditional territories, as a first step towards the reforestation of hundreds of hectares. Your contribution can directly support this vital work, while also opening up avenues of collaboration between communities divided by a painful shared history but united in a desire to regenerate the planet.

Where does your money go?

Where does your money go? Each tree costs £1.43 to plant. 50 trees absorb 1 Tonne of Co2e over a year.

We offset carbon at 0.0715p per KG or £71.5 per tonne.

Here is the breakdown per tonne.

  • 15% = £10.725 to Greenpaw for; project management, marketing, administration wages, verification of projects & development.
  • 15% = £10.725 to RAIN for; management of The Kalunga Project.
  • 70% = £50 to Associação Quilombo Kalunga (The Kalunga Community, Brazil). Invested directly in land for regeneration and agroforestry, yielding social, economic, and environmental advantages. This approach enhances biodiversity, soil quality, and carbon sequestration.

Here is the breakdown per tree

  • £1.43 per tree
  • £0.215 to Green Paw Project
  • £0.215 to RAIN
  • £1 to Associação Quilombo Kalunga

Protecting earth's existing Edens

Regenerating landscapes to thrive

It's vitally important that as humans, we collectively protect our planets life support systems, turn carbon into breathable oxygen and help the earth heal the best we can. Whilst facilitating the regeneration of lands to support biodiversity, and aiding local communities thrive.

What does the rise in Carbon Emissions (Co2e) levels mean to you & the planet?

Carbon levels in the atmosphere are exponentially rising. Co2e is the primary greenhouse gas. The rise in carbon is caused by many factors such as use of fossil fuels, agriculture, fast fashion, air travel and deforestation. Rising Co2e causes the planet to heat up and accelerate climate change.
