A family holiday in Europe is the perfect family bonding experience. They are really easy to organise and Europe is full of child-friendly restaurants, hotels and activities. Here are our favourite European destinations for children of all ages.

Located in the south of Berlin, it boasts the largest indoor pool and 50,000-plant forest. The former aircraft hangar has been transformed into a paradise offering tourists a tropical escape. Very popular for families, the island also has water slides, saunas, steam baths, spas, sports facilities, restaurants and guests rooms. It pretty much has all the things to make a perfect family holiday.
If you want fun and relaxation for your family holiday then PortAventura is the place for you. Just over an hour away from Barcelona, this complex includes five hotels, three gold courses, a beach, a theme park and a water park. Ferrari Land is the latest addition to PortAventura World which just recently opened and it has Europe’s fastest and highest roller coaster.
Loro Parque is a beautiful zoo and has an amazing array of animals. Watch dolphins as they perform right before your eyes, and don’t forget the Orcas with their impressive performance. You can also find the largest population of Penguins in the world at Loro Parque – outside the Artic regions of course!
