Are you currently teaching your class about 19th century Britain? It would be hard to find a better place for immersive learning and Beamish covers it all, from life in the earliest classrooms to working in the mills.

Some of the many learning activities are categorised from KS1-KS5 and include World War 2 onsite learning activities, life in a 1990’s pit cottage and an immersive Suffragettes rally that allows the children to make their own banners and try to encourage onlookers to join their cause.
