If you visit during the first weekend of October, you have the chance to attend the Autumn Festival. This Festival features folkloric music as well as celebrations of grapes and fine wines.

Arguably one of the most visual aesthetic pleasing areas in the UK, the rolling hills, tranquil woodland, and picture-perfect villages of the Cotswolds make the perfect autumn break. Walkers should follow the Cotswolds Way walking trail up to Painswick Beacon for breath-taking views. There are many lovely pubs and luxury hotels to explore.  4.   Costa Brava, Spain

If you’re missing the sun and fancy hot autumn holidays, then this place is perfect for you. The Costa Brava boasts some of the country’s most picturesque and super-sized beaches. 7.   Oktoberfest, Germany

8.   Bridge of Orchy, Scotland

Deep in the Scottish Highlands, the Bridge of Orchy is a village set among especially incredible scenery.
